Formula to calculate Due Date
From the first day of the last menstrual period, a pregnancy lasts around 40 weeks (280 days). However, if the menstrual cycle is irregular then it might not be accurate . The standard way of calculating the due date is by a method known as Naegele's rule.
The formula for Naegele's rule is: Due date = LMP + 1 year - 3 months + 7 days
